Accommodation Guidelines

Hotel and Reservation:

  • Hotel rooms will be blocked at various hotels in Bangkok for your convenience.
  • We recommend making early reservations as bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis once the hotel information site goes live. For late reservation requests, we cannot guarantee availability with negotiated room rates.
  • Reservations will be made and paid directly to the hotel of your choice.
  • Detailed information about booking hotel rooms will be available in June 2024.

Shuttle Service:

  • Free shuttles will run between Forum hotel areas and the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre at various intervals during the event days. There will be additional shuttle services with wheelchair lifts.
  • We will announce the meeting points closer to the Forum dates.

Accessible Accommodation Options:

  • Hotels meeting various accessibility requirements have been identified.
  • AWID’s Accessibility Committee has visited a range of hotels in Bangkok, examining accessibility-related pros and cons.
  • Please contact us on accessibility@awid.org if you have hotel accessibility related questions which are not addressed in the Forum hotels information page.

Booking Recommendations:

  • Accessible hotel rooms are limited and fill up quickly in Bangkok.
  • Early booking is advised once the hotel information site is live for the best choice from accessible hotels.
  • Rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you are granted support from the Access Fund, AWID will help coordinate the reservation of your hotel room.
