The Road to the 15th AWID International Forum is a series designed exclusively for all Forum participants. Each session is designed to provide you with essential insights to enhance your experience, whether you’re joining us in person or virtually. Each session will be offered in French, Spanish, Arabic, Thai, and English, complete with International Sign Language and Closed Captioning.

This is your chance to deepen your understanding of the regional resistance and solidarity, the practical implications of collective feminist work, and all things logistics and tech for our Hybrid Forum.

Session 1: Feminist Resistance and Solidarity Across Thailand and Southeast Asia

As we begin our Road to the Forum, we invite you to join feminists in Thailand and across the Southeast Asia region in this vital session! Gain a deeper understanding of the diverse political landscapes that shape feminist resistance in the region, noting the key wins and challenges within the local movements.

Session 2: Forum Politics: Intersectionality in Practice

Let’s put our feminist values into action! This session explores how we come together in global spaces in ways that respect and honor our histories, experiences and strategies. Join us to share and discuss the ways we will co-create a rich, accessible and brave space for all.

Session 3: Attending the AWID Forum - Logistics and Accessibility

This session is the logistics primer for all Forum participants on how participants can navigate and prepare for the Forum. Guided by the Accessibility Committee, the session aims for participants to find out more about measures taken to ensure that the AWID Forum is accessible to and inclusive of structurally marginalized communities.

Session 4: The Hybrid Experience: Virtual Tech Prep
