Visas and Travel

While we eagerly prepare to bring the Forum to Thailand, we recognize that visa regimes are prohibitive and cause significant hurdles, especially for participants who belong to marginalized communities.

In light of these visa restrictions, AWID is working with TCEB (the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau) to help participants navigate the visa processes, and support those who are having difficulty, or whose applications were rejected initially. When you register, you will be given information about the visa process, as well as a contact email at AWID for visa support, starting in May 2024.

Forum participants who require a visa to enter Thailand can start applying for the visa starting in early June (six months before travel).
